ABOUT
MONIKA NUN
I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.
In 1987 I graduated as a decorator, and soon after I worked in the fields of graphic design, advertising, and digital content creation, while also participating in several solo and group exhibitions.
Between 1998 and 2022, other aspects of life – family, raising children, and work – took precedence, and painting moved into the background. Yet those years enriched me with experiences, emotions, and stories that now find their way back onto my canvases.
Today I have fully returned to art. My paintings reflect the energy of mature womanhood, the layers of the inner world, and the joy of discovery. For me, creating is both personal freedom and a dialogue with the world.
Alongside art, I also teach companies how to use artificial intelligence and prompt engineering – being among the first in Hungary to do so, and certainly one of the first women in this field.
While AI has no influence on my paintings, this experience strengthens my belief that the courage to explore the world and the joy of creation are what connect all areas of life.
